Santa Anita Park racetrack in Arcadia, CA, will be the site for the 2012 Breeders' Cup Classic, which takes place Saturday evening beginning at 8 PM ET on NBC.
Listed as a 9/5 favorite to win the $5 million first-place prize, the son of Awesome Again will face some stiff competition from a 12-horse field. After finishing 12th at the Dubai World Cup in March, Game On Dude has been unstoppable in 2012.
Winner of four out of the past 6 races he's entered, the 5-year-old Gelding is still getting used to his new jockey following the retirement of the beautiful Chantal Sutherland. The two-time Sovereign Award for Outstanding Apprentice Jockey winner announced her retirement in late October.
